Architect. Artist. Structuralist. Naturalist. Humanist.
Antonia Lippmann Architects are currently engaged in a diverse range of exciting projects around the world.
These include the development of a
private residence in Jos, Nigeria, functioning as a prototype that showcases
rammed earth construction, highlighting their commitment to sustainable and innovative design solutions.
Additionally, they are spearheading a unique
Japanese bathhouse project in Germany, blending traditional Japanese architectural elements with contemporary design. The structure incorporates
prefabricated concrete elements for walls, ceilings, and staircases, while the top floor features a
prefabricated timber construction
with
zig-zag girder bracing. This is followed by a folded wall structure inspired by the concept of a
paravent, providing private areas for changing and washing behind an artistically designed wall.
In the realm of industrial architecture, Antonia Lippmann Architects are proud to be designing a cutting-edge
production hall and modern
office spaces for
Demecan, a leading medical cannabis company. This project demonstrates their versatility in catering to specialized industries and creating functional, state-of-the-art facilities.
Further afield, the firm is involved in crafting a distinctive
residential house in the idyllic setting of
Grenada in the Caribbean. This Caribbean project stands out as a timber construction resembling a temple, perched majestically overlooking the azure ocean. In keeping with their commitment to sustainability, Antonia Lippmann Architects are experts in creating buildings that harmonize with their natural surroundings. This Caribbean project, with its timber construction, reflects their dedication to eco-conscious design.
Back in Germany, the firm is revitalizing
renaissance houses by integrating contemporary design into
heritage buildings. These refurbishment projects underscore their ability to blend historical preservation with modern innovation, creating spaces that honor the past while embracing the future.
With a portfolio that spans the globe and encompasses a wide range of architectural styles and purposes,
Antonia Lippmann Architects continue to push the boundaries of design and innovation. They are not only
creating remarkable structures but also pioneering sustainable building materials and techniques. Their vision extends to masterplan projects, aiming to incorporate rammed earth building technology for affordable housing, making quality design accessible to a wider audience while reducing environmental impact.
In 2012, Antonia Lippmann established Antonia Lippmann Architects in Berlin, Germany. She completed her studies at the
Bauhaus-University Weimar in 2009. Prior to launching her own architectural firm with offices in Berlin and Saxony, Lippmann gained valuable experience working at esteemed architectural practices such as Stephen Taylor Architects in
